Recently, in the intelligent production workshop of an agricultural mulch film manufacturer in Guangxi, several fully automated production lines were operating at high speed. From material blending and film blowing to finished product cutting, the entire process was precisely controlled by an intelligent system, requiring only a small number of staff for monitoring and operation. "Through intelligent upgrades, the thickness tolerance of the agricultural mulch film we produce is controlled within 0.001 millimeters. The product qualification rate has increased from 95% to 99.5%, while production efficiency has improved by 40%," the company's manager explained.
As the quality requirements for agricultural mulch film continue to rise in the agricultural sector, traditional manual production methods can no longer meet market demands. Intelligent and automated production has become a new trend in the development of the mulch film industry. The company invested over 50 million yuan in technological upgrades, introducing equipment such as intelligent material blending systems, online thickness detection systems, and automatic winding systems, achieving precise control over the entire mulch film production process. Additionally, the company established a product quality traceability system, where each roll of mulch film comes with a unique QR code. Consumers can scan the code to view information such as the production batch, raw material composition, and quality inspection reports. Currently, the company’s intelligent production lines have a daily output of 80 tons. Its products are not only distributed across more than 20 provinces in China but are also exported to regions such as Southeast Asia and Africa. Industry experts noted that technological empowerment has enabled the agricultural mulch film industry to transition from "quantitative accumulation" to "qualitative leap," providing more reliable material support for agricultural production and driving the industry toward high-end and sustainable development.
